MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION GUIDELINES
- Applicants will submit the requirements to the Member Relations Office and secure as acknowledgement receipt. A deficiency list will be given for incomplete submissions.
- Member Relations Office will certify to the Membership Committee that all the requirements have been submitted and the applicant’s names may be posted and listed.
- The Membership Committee then authorizes the listing and posting of the applicant’s name and other personal data for thirty (30) days in the Bulletin Boards in Baguio and the Manila Office. The applicant’s name will also be listed in the next Club newsletter and circularized to all the Directors.
- The applicant will be informed of the personal interview requirement with at least two (2) members of the Board of Directors/Advisors which should be accomplished within the thirty (30) day listing period. The non-compliance with the interview requirement within the 30 days listing period shall be a ground to consider the application abandoned or deferred indefinitely. During the listing and interview period, the applicant for membership will be issued an Applicant’s Temporary Card (ATC) as guest to enable the applicant to utilize the Club facilities and allow the Club to also observe the decorum of the applicant and his/her dependents.
- If no derogatory or adverse comments on the applicant are received within the 30 days listing/posting period and the interview requirements have been satisfactorily concluded, the applicant’s name will be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval or disapproval of the application. The Board of Directors may delegate the Executive Committee the action to approve or disapprove membership applications. In the event that the applicant does not qualify for regular membership, the application fee shall be refunded without interest.
- The new member shall immediately pay the monthly dues on the month following the approval of his/her membership.
- Any application withdrawn after the listing/posting period of the applicant’s name shall be subject to twenty percent (20%) of the entrance fee deposit paid to cover the processing fees.
- Any false or fraudulent information given by the applicant shall be sufficient ground to reject his/her application or to revoke his/her membership.
- Provided all requirements for application are submitted, the posting/listing procedures are carried out and the interviews complied with, the application process should ideally be completed within a maximum of sixty (60) days.
